Edna Cruise Brown (April 13, 1886-January 08, 1983)
was the wife of Louis Stephen Tiffany (June 15, 1881-August 06, 1953).
She spent her whole life in Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania where she was born. She was the eldest child of William E. Brown and Martha (Mattie) Marie Viola Cruise. Sister to W. Tracy, Harold (died as infant) and D. Eric Brown my grandfather. Edna was a teacher in the area. Her husband Louie had a hardware store. Edna and Louie had one child, Jane Marie Tiffany (January 27, 1920-February 13, 1920) who lived only 17 days. All are buried in the Brooklyn Evergreen Cemetery in Brooklyn, Pa. Edna is the granddaughter of William Z. Brown and Almira Wilmarth. Both Edna and Louie, I found through my research both are descended from John Tiffany and Deliverance Parmenter which made them 4th cousins once removed. .
