On Saturday, Dec 9th, 1905, Gertrude A. Blaisure, wife of Chas. D. Blaisure,

pronounced it diabetis, the Dr. staying all night, going home in the morning
and returning at noon stayed the rest of the day and all night, doing all he
could, he going home about eight o'clock saying she could live but a few
hours. At eleve twenty she peacefully passed away, in hope of heaven,
saying but a few days before that she was going to be with the angels. Her
father and mother, Mr. and Mrs Theron Palmer, and daughter Edna, and Mr. and
Mrs. John Blaisure and two daughters were with her until the end came,
doing all that loving hands cound do. She was 21 years, 10 months, and 27
days of age. The funeral was largely attended at the East Rush Church the
following Thrusday--more than could be seated, Rev. Potter taking as his tex
the last verse in the Book of Daniel. F.A. Redell had charge of the
funeral. She leaves her husband and one little boy and many friends to
mourn her loss.
'a precious one from us is gone.
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
Dearest loved one we must lay thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace
But thy memory will be cherished
'Til we see thy heavenly face.
Yet again we hope to meet thee
When the day of life is fled,
And in heaven with joy to greet thee
Where no farewell tears are shed.
