  • TIFFANY–BROWN A very pretty, but quiet wedding took place Sunday morning at 10 o’clock, when MISS EDNA C. BROWN, of Hop Bottom, and LOUIS S. TIFFANY, of Kingsley, were married, by Rev. Dowson, pastor of the Universalist church. The bride was attired in a simple gown of white handkerchief linen, trimmed with Irish crochet and carried white roses. The maid of honor, Miss Vina Quailey, wore pink silk muslin and carried pink roses. After a wedding breakfast served to the immediate family, Mr. And Mrs. Tiffany left in their automobile for New York city, expecting to visit places of interest along the way. On their return trip they will be accompanied by the bride’s brother, W. Tracey Brown, who has been attending the New York City Electrical college. Mr. And Mrs. Tiffany will be at home after July 15, in Kingsley.
  • Whitman–Jayne: Ralph T. Whitman and Miss Mable Jayne, of Great Bend, were united in marriage at Binghamton, June 20, 1912, Rev. W. H. Crawford performing the ceremony. The young couple was attended by Robert Bond and Miss Iva Follweilor, of Great Bend. Mr. Whitman is a fireman on the Lackawanna, running between Scranton and Hoboken, while the bride is one of Great Bend’s most popular young ladies. They will reside in Scranton.
  • Frink-Milburn: At Rockville, Maryland, June 22, 1912. Chas Milburn, Superintendent for Hon. Edwin Warfield, of Maryland was married to Miss Grace Emily Frink, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Chas. Frink, of Montrose, Pa. After the ceremony Mr. And Mrs. Milburn left for Washington, D.C. and later by automobile to their home at Oakdale, Woodbine, Md.
  • Bowen–Harned: Married, at the home of bride’s parents, Mr. And Mrs. Stephen E. Harned, of Auburn, Pa., their daughter, Virgie Harned to Ivan Bowen of Sayre, Pa.. Rev. H. G. Harned, uncle of the bride, officiating, at 8:30 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 1912.

  • Berg–Rogers: A quiet home wedding took place at the mome of Mr. And Mrs. Wm. Berg, of Franklin Forks, July 20, 1912, when their daughter, Gladys, and Harry P. Rogers, of Fairdale, were married, at high noon by Rev. James Lawson, the beautiful ring service being used. The bride’s brother, Merrill, as best man and Miss Mae Blasure, maid of honor. The bride wore blue summer serg, trimmed with messeline and lace and carried white rose buds. The maid wore cream and carried pink roses. Mr. Fred Tower played the wedding march. Immediately after the ceremony an elegant wedding breakfast was served to about fifty relatives and friends. The bride received many valuable and useful presents.
