Darryl's Delta This Neat Delta Is From New Zealand!New

"Hi Dick, Thanks for your site and the many photos. It is always great to see what other modellers are up to. This is just a short e-mail to show you one of my models. I built this Delta out of 1.1/4" white polystyrene which is covered with light card paper, and painted with automotive paint. Span is 40inch and Length is 28inch. Tricycle undercarriage with steerable nose wheel, Elevons and Throttle. It had no Rudder, which made for some very interesting takeoffs. Weight is about 6lb, which was about 1lb over what it should have been. Engine is an OS 46fx with a Macs Tuned Pipe and a Taipan 11 x 6 prop. It really looked the part at the flying field, but it was a real handful to fly. In other words, it looked much better than it used to fly." "All the best and Regards in Yahshua, Darryl Tong, Gisborne, New Zealand."
