Below you will find several paper models that were developed in HO (1/87)and N (1/160) Gauge. They should be available for downloading by clicking on the desired plane or item name. This will, again hopefully, cause a ZIP file to be downloaded. Thus, an unzipping utility will be needed to recover the model components.
Each file contains the model in .jpg and .pdf format as well as a .txt file describing the construction procedures I used. Either image should be printed on 8 1/2" X 11 85# or greater paper. Heavier cardboard will be needed for some of the bulkheads needed to give the model form and strength.
As can be seen in the thumbnails below, the models are rather small (that's a dime by them) and may prove a challange. But if a 64 year old retiree can build 'em as well a design them, so can you.
The planes were developed by scanning in the images from Aircraft in Profile literature, separating different parts, cloning out unwanted information and then resizing to the desired scale. Buildings were done with the same procedure but original pictures came from a digital camers.
Down load desired models by clicking on the name beside the picture. Files are in .zip format and will require an unzipping program. Each file contains instructions, the model in .jpg format and .pdf format.
