     R. W. White spent his childhood and many of his adult years in New York. Having lived in England and traveled widely, he now makes his home on a wooded hillside above the Susquehanna River along the border of Pennsylvania in New York State, with his wife and the animals of the forest. He has published numerous articles and stories and is currently working on his next novel, Oboruni, a story of international intrigue and romance.

     He has a B.S. from Parks College of St. Louis university, a masters from Colgate-Rochester Divinity School and a Doctorate from Hartford Seminary. He has worked as a meteorologist, an employment consultant and in the pastoral ministry. A past and active member of writer critique groups, he has led writing workshops and actively appears before writers and readers groups, historic societies and other community organizations. An avid ice dancer, he has been a pilot and is currently a volunteer mediator with a community center for conflict resolution.
