Our Fields

Thanks to the cooperation of The Watkins Glen Central School District, The Village of Watkins Glen, the Odessa Montour Central School District and the Chemung Valley Soccer Association (CVSA), we have developed new fields, improved existing fields and acquired shared use of others.  They are listed below and we will be adding maps to the locations as they become available.

Village of Watkins Glen - Clute Park (100 X 63)
Primary Site - Ages U12 (Div1), U14, U16, U19

The field is located along the "boat launch road" that goes into "Clute Memorial Park" at the end of Seneca Lake.  From Route 17 (I86), Take Route 14 North from Elmira or Route 414 North if coming from Corning.  When you get to Watkins Glen, go all the way to the center of town (near the bank clock).  Turn right (East) on Fourth Street (414 North) and take the first right onto Boat Launch Road (Campground Entrance) after you cross the inlet bridge.  Go through the campground and the field is on your left behind the community center.

If you're coming from Ithaca, take route 79 West until you reach the bottom of the hill in front of the park.  Turn left into the Clute Memorial Park Campground.

Watkins Glen High School Field (Medium 80yds X 55)

Primary Site - Ages U12 (Division 2,3or4) and U10 (60 X 45).

From Route 17 (I86), Take Route 14 North from Elmira or Route 414 North if coming from Corning.  When you get to Watkins Glen, turn right (east) off route 14/414 (Franklin Street) onto 12th Street (Nearly across from the Burger King).  Go two blocks and the High School will be on your right.  Go past the school until you see Perry Street on your left and then turn right into the parking lot (behind the school - not in front).  The School athletic fields are beyond the parking area.  

If you're coming from Ithaca, take route 79 West until you Village of Watkins Glen.  When you pass the Walmart traffic light, go another 1/2 mile and turn left on DeCatur Street (At the Next Light).  Go 8 blocks and turn left on  12th Street.  Go past the school until you see Perry Street on your left and then turn right into the parking lot (behind the school - not in front).  The School athletic fields are beyond the parking area.
