2002-06-02: PRIMORDIAL GOO review by Gail Sinosky Sherman:

"Okay - here are my comments as I sit here and listen to the CD as I write:
Initial comments ...
At first listen - an eclectic and quirky mix of all kinds of genres - but if you leave it in your car CD player for a few days - it grows on you QUICK!
"Watching Waiting" - a catchy tune! If you don't watch, it'll be in your head all day!
"Mermaid" - another catchy tune! Listening to the lyrics is quite a fun experience!
"Euripedes" - an almost Nine Inch Nails shout of "Euripedes". A safe experience into the post/modern/punk-rock era.
"Memo to Myself" - As I had (mistakenly) said to you at the listening party - "my how Christine's voice has matured!" Anyway, there are definitely parts of this song that are very Madonna-like -[this is a compliment]."White Fellow's Blues" - A WONDERFUL AND TALENTED surprise to this CD - the pianist definitely has style.

2002-04-27: Primordial Goo CD Re-release party

Pete Chady hosted a private party that launched the new CD re-release of the EJO [Evan's Jazz Opera] album "Primordial Goo". Originally, this collection of songs was put on cassette tape in 1994. The original source tapes and computer sequences were used to produce a remixed and remastered album. Plans are to release the CD on mp3.com.

002-04-13: Stuart and Ernies's live band Terminal Velocity plays a rocking set in Mexico, NY

TERMINAL VELOCITY ROCKS MEXICO (Mexico, NY)
Well, I went and sat in the bar, at the bowling alley, in Mexico, NY this weekend. There, I saw Stuart and Ernie's band Terminal Velocity raise the roof! It was a bit of hike for me to get up there, but well worth the trip.

Due to 3 or so years of rehearsal prior to their full-gig solo debut, these guys put on a road-veteran quality show. They hoped they would get some people up and dancing.. and they definitely got that! During the first "get-to-know-me" set, they even had a few stragglers bouncing around, (perhaps those that imbibed early).
And the dance floor was packed for the middle set, even for such tunes as "Enter Sandman" and "Shock the monkey"...
It was quite a selection of tunes, from "Pink Panther" to "Cult of Personality", with some 311, Bela Fleck, and Genesis thrown in. The performances were full force. This was a Rock Show that made people stand up and take notice. If I didn't know already, I would have thought "who are these guys?" and "What are they going to do next?"

Ok, it sounds like I'm laying it on thick... but I had a blast, and you boys done good. Bravo, gentlemen!
