"Cuimhnich gaisge agus treuntas ar sinnsear."
The old Scottish Gaelic phrase above states the mission of this group... Remember the Valour and Brave Deeds of our Forefathers. For centuries this motto has inspired generations of Scots, both Highland and Lowland, to build the reputation of the Highland Regiments to a level that has rarely been equaled in World Military History. It is our purpose to present, as accurately as possible, this history to the modern public, so that they will know the sacrifices that have been made in the cause of freedom. To meet this purpose, we:
- Interview veterans of the Scottish Regiments and record their stories so these experiences will not be lost.
- Collect, display and interpret artifacts used by Scottish soldiers during the war years.
- Participate in historical re-enactments and tactical engagements to improve our knowledge of the 1939-45 War.
- Portray "Jock", in uniform, drill, and demeanor.
